Biography
Rebecca Katz is a project coordinator in the Office of the Director within NCATS’ Division of Clinical Innovation (DCI), where she provides administrative support and project coordination for the DCI director. Before joining NCATS, Katz worked for the American Museum of Natural History in New York and other nonprofit organizations as a coordinator for community-based and educational projects.
Katz received a bachelor’s degree in art history and English from Duke University and a master’s degree in printmaking from California College of the Arts. She is a practicing artist.
Professional Interests
Katz is passionate about findings that provide evidence of empathy and cooperation across the animal kingdom. She is also interested in community-driven initiatives that mobilize people to protect animals, especially endangered species.
