Lagos has a diverse professional background, having held positions in both the public and private sectors. He has experience in direct marketing, staffing and recruiting, small business development, and administrative management.
Lagos holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Maryland, University College. He currently is pursuing a second master’s degree in business administration, anticipating completion in August 2020. Lagos has received three NCATS Director’s awards during his NCATS tenure.
Lagos is inspired every day by the innovative and collaborative culture that constitutes the NCATS work environment. He remains motivated in supporting the legislated mission and brilliant medical scientists who comprise a Center that is breaking new ground in the field of translational medicine.
