Biography
Zulema Eldridge is a grants management specialist in the Grants Management Branch, Grants Section A, within NCATS’ Division of Extramural Activities, where she assists with the pre- and post-award management of career awards, training grants, conference grants and other research grants.
Prior to joining NCATS, Eldridge spent one year as a program manager at a small nonprofit organization. She also has worked for a public charity, at which she served in numerous roles, including as a grants manager. In this capacity, Eldridge gained extensive grants management experience and handled a multimillion-dollar grant portfolio that consisted of five grant programs focused on diversity in the legal profession and legal education. She consistently has been recognized and awarded for her multifaceted skill set, eagerness to learn and ability to take on challenging tasks.
In 2017, Eldridge earned her Master of Arts from The George Washington University, with a focus on interior architecture.
Professional Interests
Eldridge enjoys learning about advances in science and the development of medical treatments and cures. She has an affinity for genetic disorders, gene mutations and biological anthropology.
