Joni Rutter on Leading the Center as NCATS’ New Director
Joni Rutter, Ph.D., has been selected as the NCATS director. In her latest message, Dr. Rutter reflects on her new role, the Center’s culture and community, and her initial priorities.
Researchers combined organ-in-a-dish and organ-on-a-chip technologies to better understand polycystic kidney disease (PKD) and show the role of glucose in forming PKD cysts. This approach could lead to ways to test drugs and develop treatments.
Winners of the LitCoin Pilot Design Challenge developed creative plans to construct the LitCoin submission platform. This platform will enable researchers to generate artificial intelligence–ready knowledge and share it with the research community.
