To maximize the performance of the LitCoin algorithm, NCATS, along with the NASA Tournament Lab, CrowdPlat^TM and BitGrit, held a 2021 competition awarding cash prizes to the eight entrants whose models best matched the knowledge graphs manually generated from approximately 500 PubMed abstracts by professional curators.
