Ashli N. Holloway

Biography

Ashli Holloway is an administrative assistant in the Grants Management Branch, Compliance Section, within NCATS’ Division of Extramural Activities, where she provides comprehensive support to the Division staff. She oversees foreign and domestic travel arrangements for all division staff and manages complex, frequently changing, local and international schedules for senior staff. Holloway helps to ensure the vitality of the NIH peer review process, using her administrative, technical, communication and interpersonal skills to prepare for peer review meetings, coordinate travel and meeting logistics, and prepare correspondence related to reviewer travel and meeting participation. She shares administrative responsibilities at meetings, prepares preliminary summary statements for scientific review officers and manages meeting documentation for official government records.

Before joining NCATS in 2018, Holloway served as an administrative assistant for two years at the Department of Homeland Security in Washington, D.C., managing the division, researching and preparing documents for review, and providing administrative support to senior staff. Holloway earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Bowie State University and her Master of Science in clinical mental health counseling from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Professional Interests

Holloway is interested in working with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental health. She is enthusiastic about NCATS’ mission and is proud of her role in helping the Center to achieve its goals.
